https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=275083#c25 --- Comment #25 from Christian Boltz <suse-beta@cboltz.de> 2007-07-30 16:10:48 MST --- I had the chance to test the cardreader at a friend's computer. It worked without problems (even after installing all available update packages). And I think I have an idea what could be involved here: the usbhid module and especially the order of loading the modules and/or activating the devices. Background: I have a wireless keyboard and mouse (Logitech wireless desktop pro), connected with an USB receiver. Coming back home with my laptop, I booted it *without* the USB keyboard/mouse receiver connected. The cardreader works now, even after plugging in the keyboard/mouse receiver again. All the times before I booted with the keyboard/mouse receiver connected, which led to this bug. (But worked some time ago...) Oh, and I'm still using the downgraded kernel (2.6.18.8-0.3). HTH ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
