I have my fair share of doubt on that one... I actually see it on my machine too (yes, with NM.. but) - my driver used is iwlwifi During boot, the driver fails to load the firmware (error -2), retries after 60s, fails, retries after 60s success, trying to pass on to 'user space' It does not matter if I start a session or not in the meantime.
