https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893989 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893989#c0 Summary: Installation to the Hyper-vision (Virtual XEN) Does Net Install All Files Required Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Patterns AssignedTo: coolo@suse.com ReportedBy: secure@aphofis.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 During a Manual Installation of Software selecting the Hypervision or Virtual Machine selection does not go anywhere near installing all the required files. We have two Options Here. Either Maintain the KDE Menu on a running system
Systemm>Virtualisation>Install Xen or KVM wit Management Tools and have the user go and look for the install CD or have it all on a local Directory Or When the user selects this package group actually install all required files
Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.100% as above 2. 3. Actual Results: The package group should install all files in the first instance Expected Results: Does anyone test a NON-Automated Installation ANYMORE before RC as all the amount of huge issues I could log as bugs are fundamental to this not being done. I'm happy to beta test a Non-automated KDE and GNome before release if you have no one as our statement on our opensuse page of having a Rock Solid operating System starts to loose its shine a bit -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
