Maybe too, if it isn't crypted at all. Switching off parallel execution of the scripts in /etc/init.d resolves the problem. - Using ext4 and more than one crypted physical LVM devices brings up errors during shutdown (I think the same could be seen with any other fs). Editing /etc/crypttab makes the errors disappear. I'm wondering why there is a /etc/crypttab in the ext4 system, but there isn't any in the reiser system. So, if you leave the systems untouched, you have great chance to hit some data loss (reiserfs).
