Configuring the wireless network with NM worked fine after KDE4 installation with RC1 but I still get the "no network" dialog during installation if I don't configure wireless network.
Can we get rid of that till the final release?
I don't know :( Yast network proposal calls 'nm-opensuse-sysconfig-merge' stuff to convert sysconfig settings to NM's own on writing network settings in installation. Here's what we get (wireless eth1 is just set to be DHCP, but has no SSID assigned so far): Converting 'ifcfg-eth1' (interface: eth1: type: 2) : (/usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-opensuse-sysconfig-merge:4600): WARNING **: Ignoring invalid IP4 address: invalid prefix: '0'\n\n** (/usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-opensuse-sysconfig-merge:4600): WARNING **: parse_ifcfg: Invalid connection for eth1: 'NMSettingWireless' / 'ssid' invalid: 2\n\n** (/usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-opensuse-sysconfig-merge:4600): WARNING **: Ignoring invalid IP4 address: invalid prefix: '0'\n" Don't know if this is the one and the only reason why there's no network running even after 15 seconds timeout.
