https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1231322 Bug ID: 1231322 Summary: udev race condition after waking from sleep, mouse focus doesn't work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: foxhead128@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- After waking from sleep, sometimes (about 80% of the time) mouse focus stops working, except on one specific application (probably the one that had mouse focus prior to sleep, usually it's the desktop environment panel). Mouse clicking on any other application has no effect at all, making the system difficult to use. Plugging in an additional mouse doesn't change anything. Keyboard focus continues to work fine; alt-tabbing to different windows and tabbing around their UI elements works correctly. The issue is not windowing specific and affects a range of windowing environments - kwin_wayland, kwin_x11, and openbox. Running sudo udevadm trigger clears the issue up, as does logging out and logging back in. Did not notice any odd dmesg activity, but might be looking in the wrong places. System is Dell Latitude 7490, i5-8350U with integrated Intel graphics. I'm running linux-longterm. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
