Therefore I suggest to move this issue to the next openSUSE release. b) The bind chroot issue is a different topic and is very likely caused by misconfiguration. There was an issue with bind running chrooted which got fixed. See bnc#738156 In this report you also find a very verbose description why the chroot configuration is correct and has to be like it is. If your bind setup complains about a non writable directory this is caused by misconfiguration. All you have to do is to adjust your named.conf. c) The required gnutls version upgrade for openSUSE 12.1 is yet another issue. Also this one you can adjust by using the Open Build Service by building a newer gnutls inside your project.
