https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299818#c7 --- Comment #7 from Dominique Leuenberger <dominique.leuenberger@tmf-group.com> 2007-08-23 12:53:07 MST --- Created an attachment (id=159556) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=159556) Simple patch to solve this The simple patch creates some output when you type help. It outputs the string help_commands (the lower part of zypper help). I decided not to output the global_options, as they appear quiet useless to be used within the shell. Besides "help", now also "?" is accepted as the help modifier (works in shell and on commandline) It works for me, but it might not be the style requested by Novell? (I had to take the static string help_commands to the global part). Anyhow: feel free to include it or to deny it. Dominique PS: If you go for this patch, let me know. I might extend it a bit more to also accept help <command>. Basically I'd see a rewrite to <command> --help in this case.
