https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223510 Summary: OpenOffice_org i586 and x86_64 packages conflicts Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: aj@novell.com ReportedBy: pmladek@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I have installed openSUSE-10.2 on x86_64 from DVD5-x86_64 with the default selection for the KDE desktop. Then I added the suggested installation source: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source Then I installed the pattern "GNOME Base System". Finally, I tried to install OpenOffice_org-gnome. YaST started to prefere the x86_64 package from http://download.opensuse.org. It required the other x86_64 packages (OpenOffice_org, OpenOffice_org-kde, ...). They conflicted with the already installed i586 packages from the DVD. Hmm, I am afraid that we need to remove the 64-bit packages also from the http source that is suggested by default. I am not sure if it is a blocker but ... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
