See http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:CUPS_in_a_Nutshell and compare the section "Intrinsic design of CUPS for printing in the network" with the sub-section "Client-only configuration" When a desktop system (e.g. KDE) or whatever application program does not work with a ServerName setting in /etc/cups/client.conf the desktop system or the application does not work in compliance to CUPS so that it must be fixed there. By the way: If I rememebr correctly KDE has its own place where it keeps the current setting for the CUPS server (and therefore ignores /etc/cups/client.conf) and in KDE it is usually set to "localhost". Just click around in KDE to find out... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
