https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=405787 Summary: knetworkmanager lacks UMTS / CDMA wireless card support Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: 64bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE3 AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: chris.brown@sybase.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other One of the new features that was discussed for networkmanager 0.7 was the integration and support of UMTS / CDMA wireless access cards into the framework. knetworkmananger as shipped with kde 3.5.9 on openSUSE 11 lacks this capability -- the application lacks a place to configure these cards. As a workaround, I can use umtsmon (works like a champ) or ppp scripts. The gnome nm-applet has a section to configure these cards, but it appears not to work on my system either --- but it's there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
