User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Hi, I'm running XFCE 4.8 on 32-bit openSUSE 12.1. The keyboard language switcher for XFCE (xfce4-panel-plugin-xkb) has a known upstream bug in the openSUSE provided 0.5.3.3 version that produces a major memory leak. I am attaching a screenshot of my task manager, where the plugin is using 512MB of RAM after approximately 20 hours of usage. Other users have even reported higher numbers of 3 GB of memory usage! This needs to be fixed immediately. Fortunately it is fixed upstream in the newest 0.5.4.1 version, so openSUSE simply needs to recompile the newest version and completely get rid of the older version. As a fix, I have installed 0.5.4.1 from Fedora 15, and it works fine. But sure hope that this easy fix can be promptly addressed in openSUSE. Thanks a lot!
