Unfortunately I do NOT have a crappy ASUS board. I VERY unfortunately DO have a board by EVGA. yes it's EOL and EOS I have the "latest" bios for it - the last one ever produced for it. only a few weeks after I bought the board, EVGA stopped supporting AMD totally! but I'm not about to buy another board "just because". too much money. I'll wait until something good comes along, MSI or gigabyte or something good (even Tyan! and thats saying something). in the meantime, I'll try your suggestion, boot of the dvd. I don't think it will work, but what the hell. also, the overclocking, I never went into those options so it's all factory default, but still, can't hurt to look at it. the WEIRD thing is, I have 11.1 on my system now, and it has the LATEST kernel, and it is WORKING. I'm not holding my breath on suse ever fixing this bug or even caring about it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
