http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=938896 Bug ID: 938896 Summary: wicket fails to update resolv.conf and forwarders.conf correctly after switching from networkA to networkB Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: fabian.herschel@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Currently I have the problem that after detaching my laptop from network A and pluging it to network B the files /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/named.d/forwarders.conf still get the old DNS server names from network A. Even when I remove all active lines and run the command ... netconfig update -f ... the old DND server is rewritten to the above files. Using the dns-test tool prints the new DNS server names. When I restart the network for example using rcnetwork stop rcnetwork start than I get the new DNS servers been written into the files. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
