https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437935 Summary: sax2 tries to use fglrx automatically Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 2 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: philippniehues@yahoo.de QAContact: sax2-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=247290) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=247290) an error report I booted the 64bit KDE4 openSUSE 11.1b2 LiveCD on my notebook. It has a resolution of 1280x800, but the LiveCD does not detect this automatically, so I opened Yast and in it SaX2 to change it to the correct resolution. I only changed the monitor setting, nothing else, but after applying X does not work anymore. lspci says "01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon XPRESS 200M 5955(PCIE)" I attached an error report where I found out, that the fglrx module was loaded, even if it does not exist. (Of course, because I did not install it and openSUSE does not ship it.) (xorg.conf says fglrx, too) Bye -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
