https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=859711 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=859711#c0 Summary: XDMCP has not worked since 11.4 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: james.knott@rogers.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 I used to be a regular user of remote desktops via XDMCP. However, the last version of OpenSUSE it worked with was 11.4. Since then, it has been completely useless. Currently, when trying to open a remote session, there is no listed systems to select from and it's not possible to type in a host name to add to the list. As this is a function I used to use regulary, it would be nice to get it going again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Switch User to start a remote login 2.List box appears, with no systems listed. Host names cannot be manually added 3. Actual Results: Unable to use at all Expected Results: Connection to remote desktop Remote desktop has long been a feature of Linux & Unix. It hasn't worked with openSUSE & KDE since 12.x. The last version it worked with was 11.4. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
