https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=353499 Summary: yast2-sudo does not accept winbind usernames Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: marko.kohtala@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Using pam_winbind.so from samba-winbind for authentication usernames are in form DOMAIN\user. However yast2-sudo does not allow to enter the backslash into username. Of course, once it does, it needs to escape the backslash when placing it in sudoers file. Now that I have added the permissions using visudo, yast2-sudo displays the username as DOMAIN\\user. It could perform the backslash processing and display DOMAIN\user. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
