https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=864894 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=864894#c4 --- Comment #4 from Johannes Meixner <jsmeix@suse.com> 2014-08-15 15:35:01 CEST --- Regarding the main switch semantics mentioned in comment#3 (i.e. have it somehow stateful): I contrast to what I wrote in comment#3 meanwhile I think that for example after # systemctl stop cups.service # systemctl start cups.service the same individual services as after booting the system run now (e.g. if cups-lpd was running before stopping the main switch, but cups-lpd would not run after system boot, then cups-lpd is now also not running after the start of the main switch). This means the stateful behaviour is defined for each individual service whether or not it is enabled or disabled. This means switching the main switch behaviour is consistent with the behaviour when rebooting the system. This way users could use the main switch to reset for example "the whole cups thing" to the state as after rebooting the system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
