But somewhere else i read about a race condition of sata with usb driver when searching for "ata2.00: revalidation failed (errno=-19)" See also http://johnbokma.com/mexit/2008/08/05/fixing-the-vostro-hang-issue.html They suggested to force load of sata driver before usb.
