https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=268652 Summary: Wacom Tablet (Thinkpad X41) Fails to Re-Initialize After Suspend2RAM Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: loki1984@vfemail.net QAContact: qa@suse.de This was not a problem in the 10.2 release version, it has only been a problem since I installed updates, my guess would be the kernel patches. With the release version, I could re-initialize my tablet after suspend2ram with: # setserial /dev/ttyS0 port 0x0200 irq 5 autoconfig When included in /etc/pm/hooks/00clear it worked automatically. Since I did an online update, however, it no longer works after the system wakes up. It works normally when I first boot the system, and suspend2disk works fine. After suspend2ram, when I run the command, I get the following error: Cannot autoconfigure port: Device or resource busy Manual configuration also fails. A cat of /dev/ttyS0 causes the whole system to hang, which is why I suspect the kernel patches. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
