http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=563923 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=563923#c0 Summary: Locked software package gets updated Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: a.vankaam@chello.nl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux i686; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.10 I ran into this yesterday, since Thunderbird 3 no overrules Thunderbird 2 and I don't want to update that one yet I set Thunderbird 2 to protected, the little lock appears. If I close and open the lock is still there so all is okay so far. I then go packages > all packages > update if newer version is available and it wants to update thunderbird Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. protect thunderbird 2 2. close, reopen, see the lock infront of thunderbird 2 3. select update if newer version is available Actual Results: thunderbird 3 gets installed over 2 although 2 is protected Expected Results: it should not try to update thunderbird 2 in this case -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
