Successfully disabled fwupd in gnome-software (using GNOME_SOFTWARE_PLUGINS_BLACKLIST on Leap 15.2), but still the issue is coming up.
Did you manage to reproduce this in Tumbleweed with GNOME_SOFTWARE_PLUGINS_BLOCKLIST=fwupd added?
