https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384026 Summary: PackageKit: The updater throws error if it can't refresh remote repo when network is down Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: captain.magnus@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=210634) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=210634) Screenshot If I come back from a suspend, the updater will throw errors that it couldn't find valid metadata. The problem is that it doesn't even have proper network connectivity at this time (repo is remote). It should check with NM (or otherwise) for network connectivity before trying to refresh remote repositories.
