https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852716 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852716#c0 Summary: ENCHANT ORDERING FILE is undocumented Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Documentation AssignedTo: ke@suse.com ReportedBy: giecrilj@stegny.2a.pl QAContact: ke@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 Assuming that we know that your editor uses Enchant for spell checking and Enchant supports multiple back ends, we may want to wish to suffices to change the back end used by Enchant. But that is the problem: the documentation how to do it does not come with the library. The only place where it is documented is the manual page for enchant. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. Have any application (e.g. AbiWord, Sonnet) that uses Enchant for spell checking. 1. Figure out how to change the back end used. 2. { man enchant; } 3. Actual Results: 2. Manual page not found. Expected Results: 2. ENCHANT ORDERING FILE Enchant has a global and a per-user ordering file named enchant.ordering. It lets the user specify which spelling backend to use for individual languages in the case when you care which backend gets used. The global file is located in $(datadir)/enchant and the per-user file is located in ~/.enchant. The per-user file takes precedence, if found. That means libenchant (or every interface client thereof) should require enchant-tools. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
