It look like the Printer Detection phase is content just to look for a CUPS Printer or and local Printer and does not search for a Network IP Printer existence. 2. 3. Actual Results: Hardware Detection of a Network IP Printer is not performed as it is not found Expected Results: I think Hardware Printer Detection should be easily able to scan for a Network Printer, in no local printer is found, be a quick search of IP Addressable Network Printers Yast2 logs are available, but I do not think you require them.
