The initial difference seemed to be KDE3 vs. KDE4, the latter of which I rarely use. So, here is a table of what I tested to confirm that difference: Host OS Resolution KDE FF FF Icons fi965 11.4 1600x1200 3.5.x 3.6.28 no gx260 11.4 1600x1200 3.5.x 3.6.28 no gx260 12.2M2 1600x1200 4.8.1 3.6.28 yes gx260 Cooker 1920x1440 4.8.0 3.6.28 yes gx27b 11.4 1600x1200 3.5.x 3.6.28 no kt880 11.4 1600x1200 4.8.2 3.6.28 yes vizio 11.4 1920x1080 3.5.x 3.6.28 no 4 with missing, all KDE3; 3 with, all KDE4. Proof right? Wrong. I did one more host: big31 11.4 1600x1200 3.5.x 3.6.28 yes big31 12.1 2048x1536 4.7.2 3.6.28 no big31 12.1 2048x1536 4.7.2 12.0 yes big31 12.2M3 1600x1200 4.8.2 3.6.28 yes So I started poking in installed packages to find a difference, and eventually found the gtk2-branding-openSUSE package provides these dismal-accessibility (colorless on 11.4 & 12.1, OK on 12.2) icons, but the gtk2-branding-upstream package, which provides pleasantly accessible icons for FF2 and FF12, apparently provides none for FF3. I gave addons theme search a try, but when testing samples of available themes, the back and fwd icons remained missing. Unfortunately, this all applies even to the mozilla.org binaries, so the only options for 3.6.x on openSUSE 11.4 & 12.1 are apparently among bad and worse. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
