https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=350972 Summary: Icecream in heterogeneous environments broken Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: linuxdreas@launchnet.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer I am trying to run icecream in a small network with Intel P4's and one AMD 64 PC. The scheduler runs on one of the P4's. When I compile on any of the P4 computers, the compile jobs get distributed to all machines running the icecream daemon. But when I compile on the AMD computer, nothing gets distributed. I followed the instructions in the section "Icecream in heterogeneous environments" from the icecream man-page to no avail: * The PATH on all computers includes /opt/icecream/bin, * all icecream daemons and the scheduler are running as root, * on the AMD PC, I created an archive with the native build environment with "icecc --build-native", and * I set ICECC_VERSION to the file created above. Please let me know if I should upload some parts of the logfiles from the icecream daemons or the scheduler. I run them with the option "-vvv", so the logfiles are *really* big. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
