That's interesting.

I read the whole tread but I couldnt understand if there's a consensus about
the incompatibility being with xorg-x11-server 1.18.4 or kernel-desktop 4.7.

And perhaps more importantly if the bug is tracked somewhere upstream. I
couldn't find anything in the vbox bugtracker, perhaps it should be submitted
there as well?
