The installation is done properly and I am even able to print test-page, but then printer does not response to any jobs sent from any of the applications. First I thought the printer is broken, however official service reports no problem after investigation. And it works properly on other proprietary operating systems. When I connect my HL-1430 via parallel cable, then it starts working again. Ok, I changed the cable and tested the usb port of my 64-bit PC, however it seems to be a driver issue other than any hardware failure. Most probably this is a cups driver issue as far as I goggled. The similar problem has been reported for 32-bit Ubuntu OS since 2006, but I did not find any conclusion about the resolution. I think this is the first time of the similar bug reported on a 64-bit system. I tried ghost-script, postscript and PPD's from Brother's offical web-site, however the issue still exists. I will attach the cups error-log file.
