--- Comment #4 from Tyler Kar
I looked into it and it seems to work as intended: the systemd-bootchart module will only be included if and only if systemd-bootchart is found. On distributions that do not provide systemd-bootchart (which has been superseded by systemd-analyze, an integral part of systemd), it's not required.
So this message is correct. Eventually the systemd-bootchart module will probably be removed upstream, but until such time, you will see this (correct) warning.

We still provide bootchart2 as well, btw, but not systemd-bootchart. If you have a good use case for having systemd-bootchart, please file a new issue.
Thanks for looking into it. No, I have no use for bootchart. In the few times that I do use such functionality, I use the alluded to "systemd-analyze plot > /path/plotname.svg" I just happened to notice the message, discovered that it was removed since the recent systemd release, and thought it silly that a message was being generated for a component that is no longer provided. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
