http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=586063 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=586063#c0 Summary: LXDE - 11.3 milestone-3 - hotplug automount of USB stick does not function Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: LXDE AssignedTo: andrea@opensuse.org ReportedBy: lee_matheson@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.0) Gecko/20100115 SUSE/3.6.0-1.8 Firefox/3.6 Hot plug automount of a usb stick on LXDE destkop on openSUSE-11.2 milestone nor milestone3 works. It does work on KDE. I'm not sure if hotplug automounting is a nominal feature of LXDE desktop, but if it is, then this bug report is applicable. I tried different memory sticks (all of which worked in KDE) and not would hot plug automount. It is possible to manually mount via mount command. Actual Results: No popup, no mounting in a directory, ... no indication of a mount. It is possible to manually mount. Expected Results: Expect memory stick to be dynamically mounted under /media/disk or something like that. Again, if this is not a nominal LXDE feature, then the bug report "Severity" should be closed, or changed to a new feature/enhancement ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
