https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=842173 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=842173#c0 Summary: Installation wrongly installs and enables KDE bluetooth service which blocks KDE D-BUS Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Beta 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: johanp@aditus.nu QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The installation of 13.1beta wrongly installs and enables Bluetooth service on a server with no BT HW. This in turn causes severe problems on the installed machine and this causes the BT service to block the D-BUS. The blocked D-BUS in turn causes other application to hang/freeze waiting for accessing the bus. This means that for example major applications like Dolphin, Konqueror and critical services like pulseaudio doesn't really work. The user behavior experienced is that it may take up to ~2minutes after starting these applications until the main application window shows and then that the applications are very unresponsive (unusable). The previous 12.3 works correctly so this is a new unwanted behaviour of 13.1beta. I don't know enough of the BT service to understand why it will hog the bus -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
