https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=349608 Summary: 1-Click-Install aborts with "no dialog existing" Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=188117) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=188117) y2log.bz2 I found an interesting bug with 1-Click-Install: It can be tricked to abort with a dialog saying "no dialog existing" and only a cancel button. Precondition: One of my repos is non-oss mirrored on my home server, which was switched off at this time. (repo alias: "extra") What I did: - Click on a ypm link which requires some packages from non-oss (the multimedia packages as offered on opensuse-community.org in my case) - When YaST displays a notification about the non-available server for non-oss (see precondition above), enter the online non-oss repo http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/non-oss/ in the dialog and click retry Result: The described "no dialog existing" dialog with only a cancel button. YaST aborted after pressing the cancel button (no surprise), with some packages not installed. If I get the log right, YaST successfully attached the online repo, but could not open a progress dialog... The y2log is attached. (The other files in the directory did not change today, therefore I didn't include them. Exception: "badlist" lists some dependency problems, but I solved them before starting the installation.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
