All attempts to install the latest Solaris in a vm have failed at me because it was impossible for Solaris to grab the mouse pointer qemu either being run with and without the '-usb -usbdevice tablet' options. Even booting into a usual debian installation via qemu raises problems at me. With the -usbdevice option the mouse pointer is viewed in a different position than it actually is and sending keyboard events is impossible. With the option the mouse pointer often starts to hang in the bottom or right edge of the screen. Shouldn`t a better mouse support just be a little step after improving the video hardware support?
