https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=396140 Summary: ssh: not able to login for LTSP 5.0 clients Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Security AssignedTo: security-team@suse.de ReportedBy: wolfgang@iksw-muees.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer A i586 system running Opensuse 11.0 Beta 3 was loaded with LTSP 5.0 (using the official RPMs from ltsp.org). Login is done via ssh. All worked fine. After online-upgrade to 11.0 RC 1, it was not possible to login from the terminal any more. In /var/log/messages on the server, I see the following lines:
sshd[6784]: Accepted keyboard-interactive/pam for katrin from 192.168.1.199 port 36818 ssh2 sshd[6787]: channel 3: open failed: administratively prohibited: open failed
Googling was not helpfull. AllowTcpForwarding is activated. ssh keys were recreated. Obviously the upgrade to RC 1 has changed a security police or whatever. Have not managed to get more usable debug out of my machine. AppArmour and Firewall are not running. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
