https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851767 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851767#c1 --- Comment #1 from Alan Prescott <alanprescott@yahoo.co.uk> 2013-11-25 15:46:04 UTC --- This has now got weird. Having built a basic system on a single HDD using the encrypted LVM option I have now configured 2 additional HDDs as a RAID1 device holding a second LVM with 2 LVs both encrypted with the same passphrase (also the same as the passphrase for the system LVM). (I had to build the RAID after the initial configuration as when I tried to build it as part of the installation it threw up errors.) I am now getting 2 prompts for passwords. The first prompt is unchanged as a text prompt for the partition containing the system LVM cr_ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB7481dd63-5a3f100d7-part2. The second prompt appears as a gui after the splash screen appears. The name of the device it is for runs off the screen but if I press ESC it appears to be for cr_ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB7482dd63-5a3f100d7-part2. Please note the differences in the names - VB7481 and VB7482. There is nothing in /dev/disk/by-id referring to cr_ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB7482dd63-5a3f100d7-part2. FYI - /etc/crypttab currently looks like this cr_ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB7482dd63-5a3f10d7-part2 /dev/disk/by-id/ata-VBOX_HARDDISK_VB7481dd63-5a3f10d7-part2 none none cr_home /dev/data/home none none cr_data /dev/data/data none none -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
