Created an attachment (id=292661) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=292661) [details] 1 of 2 screen shots showing the menu editor
I cannot understand why you can close a bug as no response when this bug has never had a needinfo status. To clarify this issue - you only need to ask. I have attached a screen shot of the menu editor. Not the full number of classifications, for example the classification of 'Edutainment' in the editor and the huge number of sub classes.
Comment 1 asked questions in Novemeber 2008 which remained unanswered, i.e. no response was given.
The consequences of using the Menu Editor is that it bears no resemblance of your actual menu. So using the menu editor and saving the changers will only provide a user with a new menu, where most of the classifications do not even exist on the installed system.
Please, if you need clarification - set needinfo.
If you file bugs, you should read the comments no matter whether needinfo is set explicitly or whether there is just a question. In any case an email is send to you, so if you ignore emails that contain a question but do not indicate a status-change to needinfo, not answering that email/comment is still "noresponse". Please read http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:KDE , especially the "Report at bugzilla.novell.com or bugs.kde.org?" section since that would save opensuse devs resources they can spend on opensuse-specific bugs and increase the chances of your non-opensuse-specific bugs/enhancements to get fixed/implemented. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
