https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=251024 Summary: win key behaves uncorrect Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 URL: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413017 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: zscherni@arcor.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com please have a look at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413017 Win key opens "Computer" (main menu) instead of choosen actions (e.g. third level switch) Steps to reproduce: 1. (Hardware) - Keyboard - (Belegungseinstellungen) - Third level choosers - Press right Win key to choose 3rd level or xmodmap keycode 116 = "ISO3LEVELSWITCH" (of course in the right syntax) 2. press right win key 3. Actual results: Win key opens "Computer" (main menu) Expected results: choosen actions (e.g. third level switch) Does this happen every time? yes Other information: gnome2.16.1 (opensuse10.2) control-center: (Hardware) - Keyboard - (Belegungseinstellungen) - Alt/Win key behavior - default - Add the standard behavior to Menu key - ... - ... I think, it's here, where there should be a checkbox "do nothing else, than configured by xmodmap". [also if I put in (Hardware) - Keyboard - (Belegungseinstellungen) - Third level choosers - Press right Win key to choose 3rd level the right Win key still works as Main-Menu("Computer")-Starter] (Alt/Win key behavior and Third level choosers could conflict?) [btw. Also via control-center: (Persönlich) - Shortcuts there is not said "open Main Menu by pressing right Win key".] -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
