If I read you correctly, the issue opens up exactly if and only if you press "Test" in sax2.
Yes.
Tested from normal (KDE) desktop:- Kmenu>System>Configuration>Sax2 and NO Mouse Instability found.
Including "Test"ing the new configuration? In that case this very much depends on the configuration, which is strange.
Yes. I can now confirm that this same problem exists on this hardware for openSUSE 10.3-Alpha1. Further I can also confirm that this same problem exists for an ECS ELITEGROUP 760GX-M (SIS M760 chipset) mobo and three different types of USB mice in 10.3A1 64 bit version. I believe I have established that:- 1. This is is NOT limited to my particular hardware but is related to USB mice generally. 2. The problem is also in openSUSE10.3 Alpha1 32 & 64 bit versions. I believe this problem would be enough to discourage a first time Linux user from any further consideration of openSUSE. Therefore I ask you to escalate the severity of this problem and do whatever is necessary to ensure it is NOT in openSUSE10.3-GM. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
