BUT: "rpm -qV guile1" now lists a missing folder /usr/share/guile/site; and exactly THIS missing folder is the cause for all of this. executing zypper in --force guile1; to trigger a reinstall of this package, solves the issue with non-working gnucash; and with all patches applied... CCing MLS: Do you happen to hav ANY clue what is going on here?
