https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=848694 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=848694#c0 Summary: Fcitx does not install its GTK IM modules correctly Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: RC 2 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ftake@geeko.jp QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.16 After GTK IM Modules are installed, we must update the IM module cache. From 13.1, we use "gtk-im-query-modules --update-cache" to update it. However, the fcitx package does not use RPM macros (%gtkX-im-modules-post) for updating the cache and still using the old way for it. We can not use Fcitx on GTK applications until manually running command above or installing another input method framework that also updates that cache.
