https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=824600 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=824600#c0 Summary: network:telephony:freeswitch: Bug; packages break basic OS usability Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software AssignedTo: bougy.man@gmail.com ReportedBy: jeff@coherentnetworksolutions.com QAContact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com CC: nix@opensuse.org Found By: Customer Blocker: --- I have not had time to extensively debug the issues, but installing (many/most) of the freeswitch packages caused significant problems. Somehow installing the packages managed to damage otherwise unrelated, critical files. After leaving the office, I was unable to log into Gnome on my 12.3 system after a reboot (neutral critical error message), but after using gsettings to enable gnome-fallback, was unable to start Chrome, firefox, or chromium. Much missing symbols; libbz2.so was missing, libnspr.so as well, perhaps others. Removing all the freeswitch-* packages recovered from this, allowed chrome, etc, as well as stock Gnome to function. Also, the packages don't really work, either, missing a systemd unit file and being unable to start without one. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
