https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=683975 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=683975#c0 Summary: xorg: revokes permissions on tty switch Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@medozas.de QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- When switching away from tty7 to tty1, Xorg, or some component linked to it (dbus?), removes permissions from /dev/snd/* so that I cannot use any audio playback initiated from my shell running on a tty console. System is openSUSE 11.4 with systemd-20 and Xfce 4.8. I have terminated xfce4-volumed and thus established it is not volumed that revokes the permission. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
