Frankly I don't quite understand what the reporter is trying to do. Xephyr is a 'nested' Xserver running on top of another server (somehow like Xnest). Cygwin/X and Xming are 'stand alone' Xservers in the sense that they don't need another Xserver to run on top of. Of course both solutions run on top of Windows (either as a separate Window or 'seamless'). None of the nexted X solutions (Xephyr or Xnest) have ever been able to share cut buffers with the host server. This was considered the big drawback of such a solution. If Cygwin/X or Xming can share buffers with a Windows application I don't know. But this is not the problem we can solve either as we don't ship either. I'm not sure what you did to share cut buffers between a nested Xserver and the host server on SUSE 10.0. Also I don't think this works or has worked with any other distro as we don't do anything magically different than other distros.
