Martin's email (http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2011-11/msg01682.html) mentioned the following quote from the btrfs main wiki page: "Note that Btrfs does not yet have a fsck tool that can fix errors. While Btrfs is stable on a stable machine, it is currently possible to corrupt a filesystem irrecoverably if your machine crashes or loses power on disks that don't handle flush requests correctly. This will be fixed when the fsck tool is ready." What about fixing the real bugs instead with looking at these: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/1218615 http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdif... Jeff, what do you think about backporting those to openSUSE 12.1? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
