Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: "Allow pages to user their own fonts ..." (see below) is *NOT* selected. Font selection: Nimbus-family from ghostscript package (although same problem appears with other fonts, too, so it is *NOT* related to this particular font set). Font size: 12, Minimum Size: 12. 1. Open http://www.opensuse.org/en in firefox 2. Print page, select "Print to File", "PDF", result is ok. 3. Clear cache and reload page in firefox. 4. Print page, select "Print to File", "PDF", result garbled. Actual Results: The main difference between the two generated pdf files seems to be character widths. In the second, i. e. garbled version, characters widths are off by a factor of roughly 9 in contrast to the first version. In other cases different factors appear, even different for different fonts on the same page. Visual impression is the same: page contents is essentially correct, but character spacing is grossly wrong in second version. Expected Results: Both files should be almost identical (except for creation time etc.). The attached pdf files had been uncompressed with pdftk for analysis, but problem is present in original files as well. The indicated problem occurs frequently on various web sites. It goes (or maybe seems to go) away if "Allow pages to user their own fonts ..." under Preferences->Content->Font&Colours->Advanced is selected. Only the pdf output is affected, postcript output works flawlessly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
