/me wondering if openSUSE supports GPT?
Could you try install bootloader to mbr if GPT partition table used? Selecting to install on boot sector simply fails because of generic mbr boot code doesn’t know about GPT table (and mbr is transmuted to **protective mbr** that is msdos table is modified by gpt tools to single partition that encompass size of entire disk, this is intentional according to GPT spec to secure the entire disk from damaging by gpt-unaware tools). Btw, you could add kernel parameters on isolinux/syslinux/grub's gfxmenu, there they offered text input for kernel parameters right after "Boot Options" label .. (although we knew that vga=LVDS-1:d magic not rescue the system anymore .. this is JFYI) HTH. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
