http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617817 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617817#c0 Summary: compiz-manager dangerous Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Compiz AssignedTo: bnc-team-compiz@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ke@novell.com QAContact: ories@novell.com Found By: Documentation Blocker: --- Are you allowed to call compiz-manager from within a running compiz? On my RC1 installation, compiz is running. By accident, I called compiz-manager (cm) from an xterm. Some flickering occurred and the xterm was "blocked" with the running(?) compiz-manager script. To terminate it, I used control-c, which probably was a bad idea... Then, window decoration was gone. I called cm again. Fine. control-z did not, but blocked the complete X(?), I think you should print a warning and proceed only with the script, when the user confirms it. I hope this report is somehow useful. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
