http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591297 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591297#c0 Summary: I cannot change the TimeZone in KDE which is incorrectly set Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: wawrzek@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl-PL; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100204 SUSE/3.5.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.5.8 GTB6 I'm using Polish translation of KDE in UK. I set the proper TimeZone in Yast 2 (UK or "Wielka Brytania" in Polish translation). KDE incorrectly recognize it as Europe/Guernsey. Moreove, I cannot change it! I click on Apply, OS asks me for Root password which i provides, but time zone doesn't change. Other thing is that Guersey has wrong time zone - GMT, what is only true during winter time. I guess the Guersey time should be set to Europe/GB.
