I'm using opensuse 12.3 gnome. This is an upstream bug that is reported and fixed upstream here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=687886 and here's the fedora bug report, this is already fixed in fedora's brasero 3.6 package: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883983 However opensuse's braseo package does not have the patches that fix this and still gives the error. Please consider patching opensuse's brasero with this fix, this issue makes brasero completely unusable! burning an mp3 to cd is an extremely common use case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open Rhythmbox Try to burn a playlist to cd Or open brasero directly and try to add mp3's Actual Results: Brasero says this file is not suitable for audio or video media and doesn't let you use the file at all, even though you have the appropriate codecs installed.
